Identity

You don't feel like yourself but you don't quite know why. You feel isolated and marginalized despite showing up over and over again.

People who experience and settle identity crises achieve a better sense of well-being.

finding from Alan Waterman's 2007 study "Introduction to the Special Issue: Psychosocial Identity and Well-Being"

Regardless of the visible identity you hold, you're a collection of multifaceted identities. You've mastered moving through your days with seamless integration of these identities - switching in and out of them like changing clothes through the seasons. Yet, all of your identities are simultaneously integral to who you are and don't fit neatly into all the spaces you find yourself in.

From your sexuality to cultural affiliation, from being a sibling to a partner, leader to student, bring the tension between your identities into the therapy space. All of you are welcomed to come in and work out the tension that's been around for far too long.
