Working with ADHD in Therapy
I have a background in comprehensive ADHD testing as a testing psychologist. Comprehensive psychological testing is a powerful tool to evaluate executive functioning, intelligence, personality, and other relevant aspects of a person’s functioning.

In my therapy work, I am able to support those with ADHD (or suspected to have ADHD) in understanding the experience of neurodivergence beyond the surface symptoms of inattention or impulsivity. For those diagnosed in adulthood, clients have often appreciated concrete tools and therapy’s role in guiding them to develop new understandings of their past and current behaviors - allowing them to discover new identities and ways to relate to themselves as well as the outside world.

ADHD is a complex neurodevelopmental disorder. Since my practice does not currently offer testing services, I do not diagnose ADHD by clinical interviews only. I work with those already diagnosed or those suspected of having ADHD. I can make clinical recommendations on if further evaluations are warranted and guide you through the process of seeking the appropriate referrals.
